Order Amending the Regulation on the Organization of Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities in the System of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The main changes relate to terminology and clarification of official powers.
Structurally, the document consists of two main parts: 1) replacement in the Regulation text of the words “First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine” with “Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine (according to the distribution of responsibilities)”; 2) changes in the annexes concerning clarification of terminology regarding academic degrees and specialties.
Key changes include: updating terminology on academic degrees (in particular, introducing the concept of “Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge ‘Security and Defense'”), specifying requirements for submitting information on the number of scientific personnel with details by fields of knowledge and specialties, as well as optimizing the management vertical through changing the powers of the deputy minister.
