On Amendments to the Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 30, 2015, No. 1161 and of February 28, 2022, No. 168

Resolution introduces amendments to two acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine regarding payments to military personnel and confirmation of their status for receiving benefits from military levy. The main essence of the changes is adding the wording ‘on the territory of the aggressor state’ to the list of territories where military personnel’s presence entitles them to additional payments and benefits. Structurally, the resolution consists of two points and an appendix with amendments. Changes are introduced to the CMU Resolutions No. 1161 dated 30.12.2015 and No. 168 dated 28.02.2022. The resolution is applied retrospectively – from August 25, 2024. Key provisions:
– Expanded territorial boundaries for receiving military levy benefits
– Clarified conditions for additional payments to military personnel located on the territory of the aggressor state
– Replaced wording ‘on the territory of the enemy’ with ‘on the territory of the aggressor state’
– Changes apply to both direct participants in combat operations and persons ensuring the conduct of operations
