Key Provisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution dated October 4, 2024, No. 953-р
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made a decision regarding the attraction of financial resources for the implementation of the systemic project “Program for Supporting Reconstruction through Sound Fiscal Management” (SURGE).
Attraction of Loan and Credit Funds
- International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD): it is planned to attract loan funds in the amount of 450 million US dollars.
- International Development Association (IDA): it is anticipated to obtain a credit in the amount of 300 million US dollars.
Purpose of Fund Attraction
The total amount of financing of 750 million US dollars will be directed towards the implementation of the systemic project “Program for Supporting Reconstruction through Sound Fiscal Management” (SURGE), which aims to support the reconstruction of the country by implementing effective fiscal management.
