[:uk]The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1134 dated October 1, 2024, introduces amendments to paragraph 34 of the Procedure for conducting conscription for military service during mobilization. In particular, the timeframes for determining the dispatch of conscripts have been shortened: for those residing in the administrative centers of regions, it will be seven days, while for residents of other settlements, it will be ten days. This innovation aims to optimize mobilization measures, taking into account logistical considerations, and will allow military recruitment offices to plan conscription more effectively and replenish the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a timely manner.

Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1134 dated October 1, 2024, amends paragraph 34 of the Procedure for Calling Citizens to Military Service During Mobilization in Special Periods. This amendment pertains to the timelines for determining the time of dispatch of conscripts to their places of service.
In particular, in the second sentence of the fourth paragraph of paragraph 34, the words “determined no earlier than the fourteenth day” are replaced with “from the settlement that is the administrative center of the region, determined within seven days, and from other settlements – within ten days.” Thus, previously the time of dispatch for conscripts was determined no earlier than fourteen days, but now this period has been shortened and differentiated depending on the place of residence of the conscript.
From now on, for conscripts residing in the administrative centers of regions, the time of dispatch to military units will be determined within seven days. For those residing in other settlements, this period will be ten days. This will allow for a faster mobilization process and facilitate a more prompt dispatch of conscripts.
This amendment aims to optimize mobilization measures and takes into account the logistics depending on the citizens’ place of residence. A clear determination of the timelines will help military enlistment offices to plan the conscription process more effectively and ensure timely replenishment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the special period.[:]
