APPROVAL OF THE REGULATION ON THE RADIATION PROTECTION EXPERT 1. General Provisions 1.1. This Regulation defines the legal status, qualification requirements, rights, responsibilities, and procedure for the activities of an expert on radiation protection. 1.2. An expert on radiation protection is a specialist with professional qualifications who performs professional activities in the field of radiation protection and ensures the implementation of radiation safety measures. 1.3. The expert on radiation protection must have specialized education in the field of radiation protection, nuclear physics, or related technical disciplines and possess the necessary knowledge and skills to assess radiation risks and develop protective measures. 2. Qualification Requirements 2.1. To become an expert on radiation protection, an individual must: – Have higher technical or scientific education – Complete specialized training in radiation protection – Pass certification and obtain a corresponding qualification certificate – Have practical experience in radiation safety management 2.2. The expert must continuously improve their professional qualifications and stay updated on current radiation protection standards and regulations. 3. Rights and Responsibilities 3.1.
