**On Amending Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine “On State Secrets”**

* The Law specifies that information on the use of funds for procurement, prices, project documentation, and cost estimates necessary for the repair or construction of critical infrastructure objects is not a state secret.
* “Final Provisions” define the effective date of the Law and oblige the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to bring regulatory legal acts into compliance with this Law.

3. **Main Provisions for Use:**
* Information on the organization, status, planning, and implementation of measures to protect critical infrastructure objects of I and II criticality categories can now be classified as a state secret.
* An exception is information on the use of funds for procurement, prices, project documentation, and cost estimates necessary for the repair or construction of critical infrastructure objects, which cannot be classified as a state secret.
* The Law comes into force three months from the date of its publication, so it is important to consider this period when applying it.
* Attention should be paid to the obligation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to bring regulatory legal acts into compliance with this Law, as this may affect the practical application of its provisions.
* Information on procurement carried out under closed procurement procedures in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Defense Procurement” is also classified as a state secret.
