Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/708
This Commission Implementing Regulation re-authorizes sodium ferrocyanide and potassium ferrocyanide as anticaking agents in animal feed for all animal species. Replacing Regulation (EC) No 1810/2005, the authorization is valid until May 4, 2035. These substances are permitted exclusively as technological additives preventing caking in feed, with maximum content limits: 80 mg/kg NaCl for specific species and 60 mg/kg NaCl for others. Labelling must caution against mixing with strong acids. Feed operators must implement risk mitigation measures, including personal protective equipment. Existing stocks produced under the old regulation can still be used.
