On Conferring a Military Rank

This is an individual decree of the President of Ukraine on conferring a higher officer rank to a specific official.

By the Decree, the military rank of Brigadier General has been conferred on Mykola Lysenko, the Head of the SBU (Security Service of Ukraine) Department in Mykolaiv Oblast, who previously held the rank of Colonel.

The Decree is a standard administrative act issued within the powers of the President as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding the conferral of higher military ranks. Such decrees do not contain normative provisions and relate exclusively to personnel appointments and conferral of military ranks to specific individuals.

The Decree was issued within the framework of military legislation and concerns the conferral of a higher officer rank to an SBU employee, which is significant for the structure of military command and management under martial law.
