Analysis of the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 4021-IX
Adoption of the Draft Law in Principle
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopts in principle the draft Law of Ukraine on amendments to certain laws of Ukraine regarding the improvement of the regulation of the production and circulation of food supplements. This draft is registered under No. 11389 and was submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Revision of the Draft Law by the Committee on National Health Issues
The resolution obliges the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on National Health, Medical Assistance, and Medical Insurance to revise the specified draft law. This should be done taking into account the proposals and amendments from the subjects of legislative initiative, as well as the suggestions expressed in the Committee’s conclusion dated July 19, 2024.
Procedure for Submission for Consideration by the Verkhovna Rada
After the revision of the draft law by the Committee, it must be submitted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the second reading. This is in accordance with part one of Article 116 of the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which defines the procedure for the consideration of draft laws.
