On Approval of Amendments to the Procedure for State Registration of Works and Research Related to Geological Study of Subsoil

(As amendments are made to the procedure related to the Subsoil Code of Ukraine)

Essence of Changes:
The Order amends the Procedure for State Registration of Works and Research on Geological Study of Subsoil. Key changes relate to automatic extension of registered work terms during martial law, clarification of electronic document submission procedures, and establishment of additional grounds for registration refusal.

Structure and Main Provisions:
1. Terminology regarding special permits for subsoil use has been clarified
2. Changes made to electronic document submission
3. Provisions added for automatic work continuation during martial law
4. Restrictions established on re-registration of works based on special permits
5. List of grounds for registration refusal has been expanded

Most Important Provisions for Use:
– Works whose terms expired during martial law are automatically extended for the period of martial law and 6 months after its termination
– Current works are automatically extended for the period of martial law and 3 months after its termination
– Works based on a special permit can be re-registered only once for a period not exceeding 4 quarters
– New grounds for registration refusal have been added, particularly regarding inconsistencies in information about approved mineral reserves
