Order Amending the Procedure for Conducting Official Investigations in the National Guard of Ukraine introduces changes, specifically establishing the specifics of investigating cases of discrimination based on gender and the procedure for investigating instances of material damage to the state. Structurally, the changes affect several sections of the Procedure. The key innovation is the addition of a new Section X, which comprehensively regulates the procedure for conducting official investigations in cases of direct actual damage to state property. Important changes have also been made regarding the formation of commissions to investigate cases of discrimination and sexual harassment.

• Mandatory inclusion of representatives of both sexes and a psychologist in commissions investigating cases of discrimination and sexual harassment
• Establishing a 3-day period for initiating an investigation in cases of damage to state property
• A detailed list of circumstances to be established during investigations of material damage (unlawful behavior, fault, causal relationship, etc.)
• Mandatory attachment of a reference document with a valuation of the damage caused to the investigation materials
