Resolution Introduces an Experimental Project for Temporary Placement and Support of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Difficult Life Circumstances, from January 1 to December 31, 2025.
The project is implemented on the basis of two sanatoriums – ‘Batkivshchyna’ in Truskavets and ‘Slava’ in Myrhorod. The project coordinator is the Ministry of Social Policy. Funding is carried out from the state budget under the social services system development program.
Key provisions:
– The right to placement is granted to elderly persons and persons with disabilities among IDPs who have been displaced from combat or occupation territories
– Services provided include: shelter, supported living, inpatient care (up to 50 persons), social adaptation
– Interaction with the State Employment Service is envisaged for employment of able-bodied persons
– The mechanism for individual needs assessment and service provision is detailed regulated
– A monitoring and reporting system for project implementation has been established
