On Amending the Rules for Crossing the State Border by Citizens of Ukraine

Resolution amends the Rules for Crossing the State Border by Citizens of Ukraine regarding the specifics of traveling abroad for a certain category of servicemen under martial law. The document supplements the Rules with a new paragraph 2-20, which regulates the border crossing procedure for men aged 18-25 who have signed a contract with the Armed Forces or an intelligence agency of the Ministry of Defense under special conditions provided by Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine “On Military Duty and Military Service”, and who have not previously served in the military (except for basic training).

To cross the border, this category of persons must have two documents:
1) A special certificate from the military unit commander/head of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support/head of the intelligence agency unit, in the form prescribed by the Ministry of Defense, confirming the contract signing;
2) A military registration document.
