Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 629-r dated June 27, 2025, defines the distribution of subvention from the state budget to local budgets for the support of war veterans, demobilized persons, and those who defended the independence of Ukraine. The subvention is intended to ensure the activities of specialists supporting these categories of citizens and to pay monetary compensation for housing rental.
The structure of the order includes the main part, which determines the amount of the subvention, and an appendix containing a detailed distribution of funds among local budgets. The subvention is distributed among the regional budgets of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi regions, and the budget of the city of Kyiv. The total amount of the subvention is 211.227 thousand hryvnias.
The most important provision of this order is the specific distribution of funds among different regions, which allows local authorities to plan and make compensation payments for housing rent and to ensure the activities of specialists supporting veterans and demobilized persons.
