Order Amending the Procedure for Paying Additional Remuneration to State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Military Personnel during Martial Law
The order introduces changes to the procedure for paying additional remuneration to military personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine during martial law. The main essence of the changes is to clarify the wording regarding the territory where tasks are performed by military personnel, specifically replacing the terminology ‘enemy territory’ with ‘aggressor state territory’. Structurally, the order amends three points of the previous Ministry of Internal Affairs Order No. 726 dated 01.09.2023: it clarifies the wording in point 2, supplements point 3 with a new basis for remuneration payment (being on the territory of the aggressor state), and changes terminology in note 1 of the appendix. The key provisions are:
– Expanding the list of grounds for paying additional remuneration by including tasks performed on the territory of the aggressor state;
– Unifying terminology regarding the definition of task performance territory;
– Establishing the date of changes application – from August 25, 2024.
