To amend paragraph 173 of the Regulation on the Military Service of Citizens of Ukraine in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, approved by Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 1153 of December 10, 2008 (as amended by Decrees No. 581 of December 30, 2016, No. 416 of December 17, 2018, and No. 220 of May 17, 2019), by stating it in the following wording:\n\n“173. Servicemen (except for conscript servicemen) in the event of discharge from military service due to age, due to staff reductions or organizational measures, expiration of the contract, systematic non-fulfillment of the terms of the contract by the command, on the grounds provided for in subparagraphs “\u0491”, “\u0434”, “\u0435” of paragraph 1 of part five of Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine “On Military Duty and Military Service”, and persons dismissed from military service in connection with the termination (cancellation) of the contract and deprivation of military rank in accordance with the Disciplinary Statute of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, are entitled to a one-time financial assistance in the amount of 50 percent of the monthly monetary allowance for each full year of service, provided they have 10 years or more of service.”"},"content":{"rendered":"

This Decree of the President of Ukraine amends the Regulation on Military Service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

**Structure and Main Provisions:**
\nThe Decree makes a specific amendment to paragraph 173 of the Regulation, which concerns the conditions for dismissal from military service. The wording defining the categories of military personnel who are entitled to dismissal from military service during martial law has been changed.<\/p>\n

**Main Changes:**
\nThe list of persons entitled to dismissal from military service has been changed. A category of military personnel aged 18 to 25 who are serving under a contract or conscription during mobilization, for a special period, has been added.<\/p>\n

**Important Provisions for Use:**
\nMilitary personnel aged 18 to 25 who are serving under a contract or conscription during mobilization, for a special period, are now entitled to dismissal from military service based on this Decree.<\/p>\n
