This Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine concerns the adoption as a basis of a draft law amending the Law of Ukraine “On Mandatory State Social Insurance”. The main purpose of the draft law is to improve the procedure for issuing, extending, and controlling the validity of sick leave certificates.<\/p>\n

The structure of the resolution consists of two clauses. The first clause provides for the adoption as a basis of the draft Law of Ukraine (registration No. 13062). The second clause instructs the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans’ Rights to finalize the draft law, taking into account proposals, and submit it for consideration in the second reading.<\/p>\n

The most important provision is that the draft law aims to change the procedure for issuing and controlling sick leave certificates, which may affect the rights and obligations of insured persons and employers in the social insurance system.<\/p>\n
