The Commission Regulation (EU) 2024\/2608 of 7 October 2024 amends Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1333\/2008 regarding the use of certain food additives in unripened soft spreadable cheese products.<\/p>\n

Amendments to Annex II<\/h2>\n
In Part E of Annex II, food category 01.7.6 “Cheese products (excluding products falling in category 16)” has been updated as follows:<\/p>\n

1. Powdered Cellulose (E 460(ii))<\/h3>\n
The entry for powdered cellulose (E 460(ii)) is replaced. The new provisions are:<\/p>\n
\n
Additive:<\/strong> E 460(ii) Powdered cellulose<\/li>\n
Maximum level:<\/strong> Quantum satis (used according to good manufacturing practice, no maximum level specified)<\/li>\n
Permitted uses:<\/strong>\n
\n
Grated and sliced ripened and unripened products<\/li>\n
Unripened soft spreadable cheese products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
2. Glucono-Delta-Lactone (E 575)<\/h3>\n
The entry for glucono-delta-lactone (E 575) is replaced. The new provisions are:<\/p>\n
