Resolution concerns the adoption of a draft law on the creation of two new courts in Kyiv – the Kyiv City District Administrative Court and the Kyiv City Appellate Administrative Court. Structurally, the resolution consists of two points: the first is about adopting draft law No. 12368-1 in the first reading, the second is to instruct the relevant Verkhovna Rada Committee to refine the draft law for the second reading.<\/p>\n

The key aspect is that this draft law provides for amendments to the basic Law “On the Judicial System and Status of Judges” and other legislative acts to ensure the functioning of new judicial institutions in the capital. This is an important step in reforming the administrative court system in Kyiv.<\/p>\n
