This draft law aims to restore the right of military servicemen to be discharged from military service when they have a child with a disability under 18 years of age, irrespective of whether there are other persons legally responsible for the child’s maintenance.<\/p>\n

1. Modifying Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine “On Military Duty and Military Service”
\n2. Providing military servicemen with the opportunity to be discharged from military service
\n3. Extending this right to servicemen raising a child with a disability under 18 years old
\n4. Removing the previous restriction that required no other persons to be obligated to maintain the child<\/p>\n
