Such servicemembers retain their monetary compensation until their release or declaration of death. Structurally, the law contains two parts: the main part, which presents a new version of paragraph 6 of Article 9 of the basic law, and final provisions. The main innovations include: the ability of a servicemember to make a personal order regarding the payment of monetary compensation to specified persons, establishing the order of recipients in the absence of such an order, and determining payment amounts for different categories of recipients.
