This Resolution introduces a technical adjustment to the operating procedure of the banking system under martial law. It expands the range of entities whose decisions regarding foreign exchange transactions or restrictions may be implemented by banks. Henceforth, banks are required to comply not only with direct instructions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine but also with decisions of bodies that have received relevant authority from the Government. This ensures flexibility in the management of the financial system during wartime.<\/p>\n
The structure of the document is concise and consists of two points. The first point introduces a specific amendment to subparagraph 45 of paragraph 14 of NBU Resolution No. 18 dated February 24, 2022, by adding the phrase “or another body authorized by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for such actions.” The second point determines the effective date of the document.
