Regulation 2023\/1115 on deforestation-free products (EUDR):<\/strong> This regulation aims to combat global deforestation by prohibiting the placing or making available on the EU market of cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy and wood, as well as derived products, that are linked to deforestation or forest degradation after 31 December 2020. Operators and traders must exercise due diligence to ensure that these products are deforestation-free and legally produced.<\/p>\n

Directive (EU) 2019\/1937 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law (Whistleblowing Directive):<\/strong> This directive establishes minimum standards for the protection of whistleblowers reporting breaches of EU law in a wide range of areas. It requires Member States to establish secure channels for reporting, protect whistleblowers from retaliation, and ensure effective follow-up on reports.<\/p>\n

Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR):<\/strong> This regulation sets out rules relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and rules relating to the free movement of personal data. It applies to the processing of personal data wholly or partly by automated means and to the processing other than by automated means of personal data which form part of a filing system or are intended to form part of a filing system.<\/p>\n

Directive 2003\/88\/EC concerning certain aspects of the organisation of working time:<\/strong> This directive establishes minimum safety and health requirements for the organisation of working time. It includes provisions on minimum periods of daily rest, weekly rest, annual leave, breaks and maximum weekly working time, as well as aspects of night work, shift work and patterns of work.<\/p>\n
