Here is a concise description of the provisions of this Law:<\/p>\n<p>1.  **Subject Matter of the Law:** The Law introduces amendments to the Law of Ukraine &#8220;On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization,&#8221; providing deferral from mobilization to certain categories of citizens, as well as temporarily increasing the maximum age for being in public service and service in local self-government bodies.<\/p>\n<p>2.  **Structure and Main Provisions:**<br \/>\n    *   The Law consists of two sections: &#8220;Amendment to Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine &#8220;On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization&#8221; and &#8220;Final Provisions.&#8221;<br \/>\n    *   Amendments have been made to Article 23 of the Law &#8220;On Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization,&#8221; supplementing it with a new part that provides for a deferral from military service during mobilization for 12 months for those liable for military service and reservists aged 18 to 25 who were accepted for military service under a contract for a term of one year during martial law and discharged from military service on certain grounds.<br \/>\n    *   Section VII &#8220;Final Provisions&#8221; has been supplemented with a clause that temporarily, for the period of martial law and for two years after its termination, increases the maximum age for being in public service and service in local self-government bodies by five years. The decision to apply this provision is made by the relevant entity of appointment.<br \/>\n    *   &#8220;Final Provisions&#8221; define the date of entry into force of the Law and oblige the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to bring its regulatory legal acts into compliance with this Law.<\/p>\n<p>3.  **Key Provisions for Use:**<br \/>\n    *   Those liable for military service and reservists aged 18 to 25 who were accepted for military service under a contract for a term of one year during martial law and discharged from military service on the grounds specified in subparagraph &#8220;a&#8221; of paragraph 2, subparagraph &#8220;\u0436&#8221; of paragraph 3 of part five of Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine &#8220;On Military Duty and Military Service&#8221; are entitled to a deferral from conscription for military service during mobilization for 12 months from the date of discharge.<br \/>\n    *   Civil servants and officials of local self-government bodies may remain in service for five years longer than the established maximum age, but the final decision on this is made by the entity of appointment.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/zakon.rada.gov.ua\/go\/4782-20\"><strong>Full text by link<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good day!
