It addresses an error in the Swedish language version of a previous regulation, Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1302, specifically regarding a reference within Article 9(1) concerning position limits for commodity derivatives. The goal is to ensure all language versions of the regulation are accurate and consistent, it will not affect anything but the Swedish version of the document.

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/100

This regulation amends Regulations (EU) No 748/2012 and (EU) No 1321/2014 concerning aviation safety. It modifies rules around airworthiness reviews, airworthiness certificates, and incident reporting. The aim is to simplify the existing regulations, align them with the risks associated with different types of aircraft and operations, and prevent misinterpretations. The most important part of this act is airworthiness reviews and issuance of the safety certificate. It will also harmonise incident reporting rules.

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/108

This regulation authorizes the use of the colorant ponceau 4R as a sensory additive in animal feed, specifically for fishing bait used to attract freshwater fish. It sets a maximum limit of 15 mg/kg for this additive in complementary feed. The authorization is valid until 2036, but it is important to note that the use of ponceau 4R is prohibited in aquaculture feed. It also requires feed manufacturers to put in place measures to protect users from potential health risks.

Council Regulation (EU) 2026/150

This regulation amends Regulation (EU) 2021/1173 to boost the EU’s capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum technologies. It corrects a mistake in the Swedish translation of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1302, which deals with position limits for commodity derivatives. Basically, there was an incorrect cross-reference in the Swedish version, and this regulation sets it right. It tweaks two existing regulations to improve the process of airworthiness reviews (checking aircraft are safe to fly), makes changes to airworthiness certificates, and streamlines how incidents are reported. The goal is to simplify the rules, better reflect the real risks involved, and clear up any misunderstandings about how they should be applied.

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/108 of 16 January 2026 concerning the authorisation of ponceau 4R as a feed additive for its use in baits for freshwater food-producing finfish

This Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/108 gives the green light to use the colourant ponceau 4R in fishing bait. Specifically, it’s allowed as a sensory additive to attract freshwater fish that are intended for human consumption. There’s a limit set at 15 mg/kg in the complementary feed (that’s the fishing bait).
