I am happy to explain the essence of this important law to you.<\/p>\n<p>1.  **Essence of the law:** This law aims to ensure the right to education for military personnel aged 18 to 25 who are serving under a contract or conscription during mobilization, for a special period. It guarantees them the opportunity to study in higher education and professional pre-higher education institutions, and also provides for the preservation of the place of study and the payment of scholarships after resuming studies. In addition, the law regulates the issue of granting leave to military personnel during martial law.<\/p>\n<p>2.  **Structure and main provisions:** The law amends five laws of Ukraine: &#8220;On Social and Legal Protection of Servicemen and Members of Their Families&#8221;, &#8220;On Military Duty and Military Service&#8221;, &#8220;On Higher Education&#8221;, &#8220;On Education&#8221; and &#8220;On Professional Pre-Higher Education&#8221;.<br \/>\n    *   Military personnel aged 18 to 25 who do not have higher education and are studying in higher or professional pre-higher education institutions are granted leave in connection with their studies.<br \/>\n    *   Military personnel are allowed to study in other higher education institutions without interrupting their service.<br \/>\n    *   Students called up for military service by conscription during mobilization, for a special period, or those who have entered military service under a contract, are guaranteed preservation of their place of study and payment of scholarships after resuming their studies.<br \/>\n    *   Military personnel are granted a part of the annual basic leave during the period of martial law.<\/p>\n<p>3.  **Key provisions for use:** The most important provisions of this law are the guarantees of preservation of the place of study and payment of scholarships for military personnel studying in educational institutions. Also important is the provision on granting leave in connection with studies for military personnel aged 18 to 25.
