Dear Colleagues,
Today we will review the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the adoption as a basis of the draft Law of Ukraine on Credit History.
1. **Essence of the Law:** This law aims to regulate relations in the field of formation, storage, and use of credit histories of individuals and legal entities. It defines the rights and obligations of participants in credit relations, and also establishes the procedure for access to credit information. The adoption of this law will contribute to increasing the transparency and efficiency of the credit market in Ukraine.
2. **Structure of the Law:** Currently, we only have a resolution on the adoption of the draft law as a basis. The final structure and provisions of the law will be determined after revision by the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy. It is important to note that the draft law will be revised taking into account the proposals of subjects of the right of legislative initiative and the opinion of the Committee.
3. **Main Provisions:** Since there is currently only a resolution on adoption as a basis, the specific provisions of the law have not yet been determined. However, based on the title and purpose, it can be assumed that the law will regulate:
* The procedure for forming and maintaining credit histories.
* Rights and obligations of creditors and borrowers in the field of credit history.
* The procedure for accessing credit information and its use.
* Mechanisms for protecting the rights of subjects of credit history.
****Since the draft law concerns issues of finance and lending, its adoption may have a significant impact on the economic situation in the country.
